League & Pre Season News
Pre Season matches are planned with Welling Utd, St.Albans City, Waltham Abbey, Dagenham & Redbridge, and Kings Langley on the list. Unfortunately these will be behind closed doors until the FA & DCM&S Govt Dept give the go ahead to allow spectators into grounds at non league levels.
The Isthmian League have pencilled in September 19th as a start date for the league to kick off, subject to guidance, and being able to start with supporters present. The FA have an earlier start, the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup is September 1st , the Preliminary Round September 12th, and the 1st Qualifying Round (Cheshunt FC join the competition at this point) due on Tuesday September 22nd.
The early round FA Cup draws take place on Tuesday 18th August, let’s hope they are accompanied by news allowing fans back into grounds. As soon as we receive a positive update, we will post here and on social media
