Potters Bar sit one point above Cheshunt in the league courtesy of their two wins, to Cheshunt’s one win and two draws, but Bar are no longer in the FA Cup after falling to Stowmarket in the last round, whereas Cheshunt head to Hitchin this coming Saturday.

Potters Bar grabbed the bragging rights at this fixture last year with a 3-0 win, with the Ambers denied the opportunity for payback with the season curtailed.  The previous season saw the Ambers win both meetings, one in the League 2-0 and one in the League Cup 4-0.

Bar come into the fixture with a good win away to Cray Wanderers on Sunday afternoon, but with former Amber Aryan Tajbaksh suspended, The Ambers will want to put the Merstham defeat behind them and bounce back with a derby win to get the early season form back on track. Cheshunt are carrying injuries with Jamie Reynolds, Taylor Mckenzie, Reece Beckles Richards, Ola Williams & Great Evans unlikely to feature, but strength in depth allows Manager Craig Edwards to select a strong side with incoming players looking to retain the shirt.
