Alfie takes the reins from Steven McCarthy, who stepped down in September. It marks the end of a thorough selection process to ensure the right appointment for the Women’s team who currently sit second in Eastern Region Women’s League Division One South.
Club Chairman Dean Williamson said: “I’m delighted that Alfie has taken on the position as Women’s manager. We received a number of quality CV’s and it was important to appoint someone who has the club ethos to heart, would be in a position to bring the team closer together within the club and take them on to the next level. Alfie has experience of the women’s game, is an excellent coach and someone with the club at heart. I look forward to the team moving forward this season and the years ahead. ’
Alfie will be supported by his Assistant Manager Lee Walker and 1st Team Coach Liam Clifton.
