Cheshunt Football Club is offering an exciting opportunity to train as a Digital Media Assistant on the Government’s Kickstart Programme. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual with good written, media and interpersonal skills to help the club to provide content across all of its digital and non-digital platforms.
Applicants need to be prepared for an industry that demands flexibility and dedication outside of what many would consider to be ‘the traditional nine-to-five’ in exchange for an extremely unique and rewarding experience that will also allow you to develop, grow and widen your own professional skills.
We are committed to improving access to routes into employment by offering support and training and have the infrastructure in house to provide employability support and a structured training package to a young person. Our experienced HR Advisor will provide a package of training to meet needs and enhance skills, together with practical advice to develop the skills and the confidence you need to succeed.
During the course of the placement you will be supported to gain an awareness and understanding of the tasks involved in supporting and developing the clubs social media, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube and complete an introduction to media course.
The 6 month placement is 25 hours per week and will involve some travel away from the stadium.
To be successful in this role you will need to show you are able to manage multiple tasks at the same time and have a command of writing interesting and well-structured English language content.
If you have good IT user skills to create short and interesting video content to post to our key social media channels, you will be a positive match for this opportunity.
