This Tuesday, 15th March, The Ambers return to the Herts Senior Cup, and a semi-final tie with Southern League Premier Division South side Hitchin Town.

The two sides have already met this season, a 3-0 victory at Top Field in the 2nd Qualifying round of the FA Cup on the 18th September with a brace from Zac Newton and one from Ken Charles saw The Ambers into the next round and an away tie against AFC Sudbury.

The Canaries have beaten Tring Athletic in the 2nd round 4-0 and St Albans City 5-3 on pens after a 2-2 draw in the Quarter-finals.

The Ambers started in the first round of the competition with a 3-0 win at home to Colney Heath, a 1-0 win v Baldock Town in the 2nd round and a 2-0 win v Hemel Hempstead Town in the Quarter-finals.

The winner of this match will play Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Hadley, who beat Royston Town 2-0 in the other semi-final.

Kick-off will be at 7:45PM.

Admission will be £12 adults, £6 concs and £2 under 16’s.

The Sports Bar will be open before, during and after the match selling drinks and bar snacks, and the Burger Bar will be open selling hot food and drink.
