Two goals at the start of each half were enough to see Kidderminster travel home in the draw for the next round, but it could have been different. Cheshunt gifted both goals, the first comfortable in possession in the Kidderminster half, then a loose pass allowing a pass through the centre to create a two on one move that the visitors were too smart to turn down, Ashley Hemmings supporting the run and on hand to tap home.
Cheshunt made changes and started the second half well, but in looking to play out of the back got pressed & Ethan Freemantle was on hand to take advantage again from close range,

Determined to get back, the Ambers forced a succession of corners, and debutant Luke Warner Eley delivered the perfect cross for Mo Camara to power home a header and put the home side back in the match.
Billy Cracknell defended well driving Yusifuy Ceesay wide away from goal on several occasions. Captain Joe Re drove the home side forward in search of the equaliser, and a replay looked likely as Cheshunt took control. Kidderminster however were dangerous on the break & could have secured the tie, but Joe Rose in the Cheshunt goal swept well & thwarted any further  away attacks.

The match passed quickly in the hands of one of the best referees we have seen this season & Cheshunt ran out of time to take the tie to a replay.
