No one imagined the move up to Vanarama League football at step 2 would see Cheshunt FC continue the rich vein of form that swept us to promotion a Trophy run and the Herts Senior Cup, it was going to make demands of the club both on and off the pitch, and it would certainly be fair to say it has been a tough introduction.
The club Operational Committee meet later in the evening to update on activities that support both the club as a whole, and ultimately the first team, prior to the Committee meeting, Manager Craig Edwards will hold an open meeting to share his views on the start made to the season by Cheshunt, the opposition we have faced, are due to face, what his immediate plans are, with regard to October’s matches, and the playing squad available to him.
Recently you will have seen some familiar faces leave for pastures new, some go out to clubs on loan, or dual registration and you will have seen new faces come into the squad. Craig makes a point of leaving nothing out of bounds in the interviews he gives pre & post match, and Thursday evening promises to be the same. Come and hear from our most successful manager ever, Craig can tell us what has happened, what is happening right now, and what he considers is a reasonable expectation for the season, and how he plans to achieve it.
Bring your (sensible) questions with you on the night, or DM them to @cheshuntfcscore. We look forward to seeing you in the Sports Bar at 6pm Thursday
