Concord & Cheshunt have strung some decent results together recently, seeing them both rise up the form tables

Three wins each in the last six league matches, and both exiting the FA Trophy in the second round.  Concord currently average two goals against (if we include the 4 shipped in the FA trophy defeat at Harrow Borough) , whereas the Ambers have three clean sheets in a row.  on League results alone, Cheshunt have scored 7 times in recent matches compared with Concord’s 8,  Concord have conceded 6 to Cheshunt’s 5 , so it is a very even outlook league form wise.

League goal scorers Cheshunt’s Liburd & Beckles Richards have 4 each, Concord appear to spread the goals around a lot more with a number of players with 2 each.

Both teams are supporting the Shelter Charity ‘No Home Kit’ campaign, so on Boxing Day Cheshunt will wear their away kit, on New Years Day  Concord will wear their away kit.

What is #NoHomeKit?

This Christmas, we’re asking clubs and fans from across football to swap their home colours for an away or third kit, show support and raise vital funds for those with no safe place to call home.

Why we need your support

Every 90 minutes, 25 households are made homeless in England.

The housing emergency continues to devastate lives. This winter, thousands of people will spend Christmas trapped in dingy hostels, on friends’ sofas, or even sleeping in freezing cars. This is something we can’t ignore.

With the growing cost of living crisis, the situation is set to get much worse. With your help Shelter can continue to provide free advice and support to the thousands of people facing homelessness and continue the fight for home.

So for the festive fixtures, get involved in #NoHomeKit; swap your team’s home colours for an away or third kit, spread the word and fundraise, Together, we can aim to make sure everyone in the UK has access to a safe, secure and affordable place to call home.

Campaign aims

● Raise awareness of the scale of homelessness amongst football fans.

● Raise funds to support Shelter’s effort to end the housing emergency.

● Unite the football community in support of those with no safe place to call home.

There will be a collection bucket at the match, please consider whether the change from the Tea Bar or Sports Bar might weigh heavily in your pocket, wearing out your pocket and ruining the line of your attire. Perhaps it would be better to deposit it safely in the collection bucket where it can contribute to a positive outcome elsewhere.

Alternatively you can donate by the following methods,
