This Tuesday (The 25th April), The Ambers take on Worthing FC for our last home match of the 2022/2023 season, and it is a must win fixture for us as anything less than a victory for The Ambers would see us relegated from the National League South.
Worthing are currently 7th in the table on 72 points from 44 matches and are guaranteed a play-off place in their first season in the National League South. The Rebels come into this fixture on the back of a 3-2 away defeat v Taunton Town last Saturday whilst The Ambers come into the match after an excellent 2-1 win at home to Bath City.
When the two sides played the reverse fixture in September last year, The Rebels came back from 2 goals down to win an exciting match 3-2. With goals from Dajon Golding and Rowan Liburd being cancelled out by a brace from Mo Jammeh and one from Sammi McCloed.
Kick off will be at 7:45PM and the Ambers Sports Bar will be open before, during and after the match for bar snacks and drinks, and although they will not be serving the excellent bread pudding that is available at Worthing, Amber Eats will be open before and during the match selling hot food and drinks.
We hope to see as many home, away and neutral fans as possible as its sure to be a highly, if nervy, entertaining match.
