The Ambers will be visiting Kent on Saturday to play Tonbridge Angels for our last match of the 2022/2023 season.
It has been quite a rollercoaster ride this year, after winning our opening match in our first ever season in the National League South, 3-2 at home to Hampton & Richmond Borough, then losing ten in a row to go bottom in the league, to losing only one match in ten over the dec/jan period to claw our way out of the bottom four, making the semi-finals of the Herts Senior Cup, then finally on the penultimate match of the season with a 0-2 loss at home to Worthing we were relegated from the NLS.
So with what will be our last match in the National League South ( for one year at least) lets go and make some noise at The Longmead Stadium and go out with a bang.
The reverse fixture way back in September at Theobalds Lane saw our visitors go home with all three points, with a goal apiece from Rowan Liburd, Brandon Adams and Reece Beckles-Richards for the Ambers and two from Louis Collins and one each from Jeremy Junior-Soares and Jeremy Santos for The Angels.
Win, lose or draw lets get behind Craig and the boys for one last hurrah.
