Our annual Community Cup tournament has become a popular fixture in our pre-season calendar and this year we have a prestigious line up, welcoming Luton Town Development Squad and a Leyton Orient XI to Theobalds Lane this Saturday.
Tickets are available on the gate or online.
As well as a feast of football, the day is about raising awareness and money for local charities, and this year we are delighted to be supporting CHEXS.
CHEXS supports Hertfordshire families by working directly with parents and creating supportive workshops to tackle the underlying sources of family tension such as financial issues, whilst working intensively through family difficulties. The charity’s unique whole family approach reduces homelife stresses by building positive mental health, increasing resilience, improving relationships and developing life skills.
The CHEXS team will be in attendance on the day so please stop by to chat about their work and donate to such a worthwhile cause.
We’re looking forward to being back in action in the stadium in what manager Craig Edwards describes in his programme notes as being a gauge of where we are and where we need to improve ahead of the new season.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
