Lenny Brown started his football career with the Ambers representing Cheshunt Youth teams up to u9 level. Lenny is second from the left collecting another tournament award with his team mates. He is now with Stevenage FC u18 team.
Lenny has followed in the recent footsteps of David Hicks after being named as a substitute for the away match versus Peterborough United in the Bristol St Motors Trophy, and getting into the action in the second half of an eventful evening, which saw Lenny replace his colleague Ken Aboh after a head injury, but not after the referee had needed to temporarily suspend the action due to torrential rain, eventually finishing the match after two hours thirty three minutes.
This was Lenny’s professional debut and it is believed he is one of the youngest ever Stevenage players, along with u18 colleague Ryan Doherty who also came on as a sub in the same match.
Congratulations Lenny, we will look forward to seeing some more 1st team appearances in the near future.
