Craig Edwards has acted swiftly to cover injuries, suspensions & strengthen his squad after results have left the Ambers with one win in six matches, despite the players starting giving 100% to the team, matches have slipped away from the Ambers, prompting the manager to act before the season becomes a relegation battle before it has really started.
Udoka Chima, Zenon Stylianides and fan favourite Mo Camara have been signed to the Ambers, they are joined by loan players Bill Cracknell (Colchester Utd) Kian Flanagan (Barnet) , Sam Woods (Barnet) and Joe Rose (Norwich City)
On the coaching staff, local man James Elliott joins Craig’s team, James brings a wealth of experience as both a player & coach, having played at Enfield, Stevenage, Sheffield United & Lincoln City, before moving back to Cheshunt & playing, coaching and managing with local sides including Hertford Town, St Mags, Royston & Wormley.
Sam Alderson is dual registered with Harrow Borough, although unfortunately broke his collar bone last week, we wish Sam well. Will Seager, injured in pre season has had surgery on his knee, and we look forward to seeing Will back later in the season. Blaise Riley Snow is dual registered with Enfield Town , and Wyan Reid has dual registered with Brentwood Town. There will no doubt be more comings and goings as the squad settles back down, and whilst it will be sad to see some of our favourites move on, we have to respect they want to be on the pitch, not in the stand, and they will have our thanks & best wishes individually in due course as they take up positions with other clubs.
In the meantime, welcome to all the new players, we hope you enjoy your time with Cheshunt FC, we look forward to seeing you all in Amber shirts, now registrations have all signed off.
