Prior to the match a minutes applause was held to mark the passing of former Cheshunt Manager Ian Priest

Cheshunt opened up on the front foot and could have been at least two up within the first ten minutes, Vas Vasiliou hit a shot heading for the top corner that was expertly tipped over by Hashtag keeper Josh Strizovic, then a cross from Vasiliou was met by Sol Baugh who beat the keeper with his downward header but also beat the goal & went past the post. The two wide men combined again to give Vasiliou a chance at the back post, again well saved by Strizovic.

The Ambers had to be on their guard, Hashtag looked dangerous going forward & a Sam Cornish shot produced a good save from Joe Rose.
Hashtag pinned the home side back at the start of the second half & took the lead when a corner was met with a fine header from Alex Teniola, keeper Rose got fingertips to it, but couldn’t prevent the ball making the back of the net.  The goal spurred Hashtag on & Cheshunt skipper Taylor McKenzie had to Marshall his defence to keep them at bay.
The positive forward running from Nathaniel Orafu & Isiah Noel Williams bought Cheshunt back into the game & Orafu was bought down when his quick feet saw him escape his marker. Taylor Miles stepped up & stroked a dipping shot beyond Strizovic for the equaliser.

Cheshunt had chances to take the lead with Vasiliou shooting over, then Andre Godfrinne shooting wide, both released by the creative Orafu. The last action of the match went to the visitors when a fierce drive was cleared off the line by Harlain Mbayo, and the rebound returned & saved by the diving Rose.
