After a lot of soul searching Jamie has decided to play his football closer to home where he can meet the commitments required of players these days, and have time to grow his career away from football at the same time.  Jamie has signed for Tilbury FC, former rivals of the Ambers, in the Isthmian League North a few years back.

After finally convincing Manager Craig Edwards he really was not a Left Back, but a Midfielder Jamie made 119 appearances, and scored 13 goals. Jamie made his debut v Bishops Stortford on December 7th 2019 , scored his first goal v Kingstonian in a 4-2 win on March 11th 2020, and scored his last goal in his last game for Cheshunt v Hashtag , the 3-3 draw on April 27th this year.

In his time with us Jamie helped the Ambers to promotion into the National League South,  secure a County Cup Win, and completed the full ninety minutes in the team that nearly toppled Stockport County in the 5th round of the FA Trophy.  With his experience of Cheshunt FC , Isthmian Premier level football, his determination and work rate, and of course his innate ability to look completely baffled by a refereeing decision, he was often a popular choice to captain the team.

Jamie called in, and had this message for everyone, ” I am absolutely gutted to be leaving such a wonderful club. A massive thank you to everyone involved at Cheshunt FC, the Fans and the Staff.  The love and support I have experienced over the last four years has been more than I could have ever expected.  Good Luck for the coming season, I will look forward to seeing you all soon.”

Thank You for your contributions Jamie,  Good Luck at The EMR Stadium Chadfields,  we’ll look forward to seeing you soon,  As a 100 club member, you are always welcome  to visit us for Cheshunt home matches, and call in to the Ambers Sports Bar.

We should also say a big thank you to the Jamie Reynolds Fan Club too, Alan, Tony & Martin have almost as many appearances as Jamie !
