Cheshunt Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Mel Gwinnett as the new First Team Manager.

Mel brings over 20 years of experience in football management, having previously held key roles at clubs such as Exeter City, MK Dons, Stevenage and Barnet. He also had a successful managerial spell at Hampton & Richmond in the National South, guiding them to a club record unbeaten run, an FA Trophy quarter-final and within a point of the play-offs last season.

Mel is known for his meticulous, data-driven approach and commitment to developing both players and staff. We are confident that Mel’s experience and vision align perfectly with the club’s ambitions. Mel will join Preston and James in the dugout this Saturday against Cray Wanderers.
