CHESHUNT FC COMMUNITY CUP 2019 UPDATE

22 Aug 2019

AN AMAZING AMOUNT RAISED FOR ISABEL HOSPICE.

Many of you will recall that as part of the Pre Season preparations we held our annual Cheshunt FC Community Day. This year we elected to support Isabel Hospice in their work creating a Wellbeing Centre locally at St Josephs Waltham Cross, in memory of former Ambers player John Walton, who we lost earlier this year.
Invited to partake in the 3 team round robin tournament this year were our friends & tenants from the Isthmian South Central League FC Romania and Royston Town from the Southern League Premier Division.
The Ambers were the holders of the trophy from last year, but things didn’t follow plan A this year. Results saw Royston take the trophy this year, presented to Royston captain Adam Murray, by Mrs Wendy Ravilious, sister of the late John Walton and Cheshunt chairman Dean Williamson.
Most importantly, gate receipts, the raffle & your generous donations have enabled Cheshunt FC to advise Isabel Hospice we would like to purchase equipment to the value of £1100 to furnish the new Wellbeing Centre in Waltham Cross.

Many Thanks to All for your support.
