King’s Lynn Town FC will be joining us and Harringey Borough this Saturday in our Community Cup. The Linnets replace Enfield Town FC who, by midday today, had failed to confirm their attendance.

There was doubt this week whether Enfield Town FC could fulfil the agreed fixtures, and earlier today the Cheshunt FC organising committee took the decision to replace them. The club did not want to see a Community Day event, which supports local charities, disrupted with less than two days to go.

The Linnets compete in the Vanarama National League North and will add extra quality to the tournament. It makes for a fantastic festival of football, whilst raising money for Mind and the Samaritans.

We look forward to welcoming both King’s Lynn Town and Haringey Borough to Theobalds on Saturday.

A new opponent will be sought for our previously arranged friendly with King’s Lynn Town on Saturday 30th July.
