A tough trip to the Sports.
Cheshunt FC’s playoff bid continues this weekend with a trip to Bedfont Sports.
When the sides met at Theobalds Lane in December, the visiting Sports fought back from 2-0 down with five minutes remaining to earn a point.
Cheshunt are currently in some of their best form of the season ahead of this game, having won their last four games.
That run has seen the Ambers defeat Hanwell Town (4-2), Chipstead (1-0), Egham Town (3-0) and Tooting and Mitcham United (2-1).
Having lost just one of their last eight games Cheshunt sit fourth in the division, level on points with second place Bracknell Town albeit having played a game more.
Jason Hallett, Al-Hafeez Sanusi and Taylor Mackenzie will all miss out through suspension, whilst Emiel Aiken, Lewis Hobbs, Ibrahim Conte, David Ompreon, Henry Musaj and Asher Silverman are all sidelined.
On a positive note, Dave Kendall and Ashley Nzala are set for a return to the side, whilst goalkeeper Hugo Eyre was a deadline day signing from Chelmsford City.
Bedfont Sports head into the game following an inconsistent run, with three wins and two defeats in their last five games.
Sports have defeated Uxbridge (5-1), South Park (4-0) and Westfield (3-0), and lost to Northwood (3-2) and Waltham Abbey (2-1), leaving Paul Johnson’s side 12th in the table.
Bedfont will be without the services of Perry Luckins who is suspended, whilst Abdul Abdeen and Simo Mbonkwi both left for Norwegian club Nybergsund IL this week.
Saturday’s game takes place at the Bedfont Sports Club, postcode TW14 9JR. Kick-off is 3pm and admission prices are £8 adults and £6 concessions. Come on you Ambers
