Cheshunt will be looking to return to winning on Tuesday evening as Bowers & Pitsea make the trip to Theobalds Lane.
The Ambers have lost two of their last three games in all competitions, but since the turn of the year have won four out of six games in total.
Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Worthing was a second consecutive league defeat after the previous weekend’s 3-2 A10 Classico loss to Enfield Town, which leaves Craig Edwards’ side 18th in the division.
On the injury front, Amadou Kassarate and Shane Cojocarel remain sidelined, whilst Fabion Simms and Ashley Nzala are progressing well in their recovery from long-term lay-offs. Mark Hughes and Taylor Miles will be available, with their suspensions kicking in on Saturday.
Ahead of the visit of Bowers, Cheshunt Manager Craig Edwards said: “We’ve seen in the last few weeks when we’ve played sides in and around us, they’re difficult games, I think all the games without using a cliché are really difficult.
“I think if you take the positives out of today (the 2-0 loss to Worthing) we can go into Tuesday very confident.
“We look strong defensively, we look a constant threat up front, midfield I thought we were very good. You come away to Worthing, on paper you’re not going to get a tougher game all season and to perform like that you’ve got to fancy yourselves going into every game.”
Bowers & Pitsea will be hoping for a turnaround in fortunes after winning just one of their last four games, and just two of their seven games in 2020.
Heading into Tuesday evening Bowers are coming off the back of two straight defeats to Corinthian-Casuals (2-0) and Hornchurch (1-0) which sees them sit 16th in the division, seven points ahead of the Ambers.
Tuesday’s game takes place at the Stadium, Theobalds Lane, postcode EN8 8RU. Kick-off is 7.45pm, and admission prices are just £10 adults, £5 concessions and £1 U16s. COYAMBERS.
