Cheshunt will be hoping for a change in fortunes this weekend as Carshalton Athletic make the trip to Theobalds Lane.

The Ambers are without a win in their last six league games, and have won just one of their last eight in all competitions.

Last week’s 6-1 defeat to Cray Wanderers leaves Cheshunt 20th in the division and in the relegation zone, with just three league wins in 15 games.

Fabion Simms, Ashley Nzala, Shane Cojocarel and Bobby Mills are sidelined through injury, whilst Joe Re, Mo Camara and Mark Hughes are set to miss out through suspension.

On a positive note, Ambrose Gnahore, Toyosi Olusanya and Sammy Collins have all recovered from injury, however only the latter is likely to figure against Carshalton.

Zack Newton joins the Ambers from league leaders Horsham, where the winger made 19 appearances this season, scoring twice.

Carshalton Athletic have had their league campaign disrupted by cup action so far, with the Robins reaching the FA Cup first round, where they were defeated 4-1 by Boston United.

Peter Adeniyi’s side have drawn their last five league games, a run that dates back to the end of September, however they head into this weekend’s game following a 5-3 FA Trophy victory over Frome Town on Tuesday evening.

Carshalton have no apparent injury concerns.

Saturday’s game takes place at the Stadium, Theobalds Lane, postcode EN8 8RU. Kick-off is 3pm, and admission prices are just £10 adults, £5 concessions and £1 U16s. COYAMBERS.
