'The Geordies' to visit The Lane.
Cheshunt FC will be looking to return to winning ways this weekend as they welcome Hanwell Town to Theobalds Lane.
When the sides met at The Powerday Stadium back in November, Hanwell sprung a surprise as a late brace from Harvey Killen helped his side to a 3-1 victory.
Fifth-place Cheshunt have lost just one of their last four games in the league, a 4-0 defeat to playoff rivals Marlow on Tuesday. Prior to that, Craig Edwards’ side had defeated Stevenage (2-1), Waltham Abbey (2-1) and Chalfont St Peter (2-0).
The Ambers still have a lengthy injury list with Jason Hallett, Ibrahim Conte, Bobby Mason, David Ompreon, Henry Musaj and Asher Silverman all sidelined, whilst Jonathan Munday serves the final game of his suspension.
On a positive note, Anthony Sinclair-Furlonge returns to the side after missing Tuesday’s game, and could make his first home appearance for the club.
Hanwell Town have lost just two games since the turn of the year, and are unbeaten in their last three games following a defeat to Waltham Abbey (3-2).
Their upturn in form has seen the Geordies move up to 10th in the division, having drawn with Bedfont Sports (3-3), and defeated Egham Town (3-1) and South Park (4-0).
Hanwell have proven difficult to defeat on the road this season losing just three of their 14 games, however they have been somewhat of a draw specialist, as they have also won just three games away from home.
Saturday’s game takes place at Theobalds Lane, postcode EN8 8RU. Kick off is 3pm, and admission prices are just £10 adults, £5 concessions and £1 U16s. Come on you Ambers.
