THE AMBERS AIMING FOR THREE WINS IN A ROW IN SUSSEX
Cheshunt will be looking to continue their excellent recent form this weekend as they face a difficult trip to play-off chasing Horsham.
When the sides met back in September at Theobalds Lane, Horsham managed to grind out a 1-0 win courtesy of an Ibrahima Diallo own goal.
However, the Ambers will head into this game full of confidence following three consecutive victories, which equals Craig Edwards’ side longest such run this campaign.
Cheshunt sit 18th in the division, firmly in a fight to avoid relegation, sitting two points clear of the relegation zone, but will be hoping to extend their winning streak and pull further clear of trouble.
Tommie Hession-Harris and Ryan Moss are expected to return to fitness, whilst Joe Re returns from suspension as Craig Edwards has a full squad to select from.
The hosts Horsham remain firmly in the fight for promotion as we head into the business end of the season, lying sixth in the division, just four points behind Cray Wanderers with a game in hand.
The Hornets have been inconsistent of late having won just one of their last five Isthmian Premier Division games, losing two and drawing two.
Dom Di Paola’s side will be refreshed having been out of action since 12th February, when they handily defeated Burgess Hill Town 5-0, whilst the Sussex side will also be boosted by the addition of midfielder Alex Clark.
Saturday will also see a reunion for Cheshunt forward Zack Newton with his former club, having made 20 appearances for Horsham this season prior to making the move to Theobalds Lane.
This weekend’s game takes place at the Camping World Community Stadium, postcode RH13 0AD. Kick-off is 3pm and admission prices are £11 adults, £6 concessions and £2 U16s. COYAMBERS.
