The Bostik League South Central Playoffs get underway on Tuesday evening as Cheshunt welcome Marlow to Theobalds Lane.
Marlow took four points from Cheshunt this season, the sides drawing 0-0 at Theobalds Lane, with Marlow winning the reverse fixture 4-0.
Cheshunt head into the game unbeaten in their last 10 games in the league, a run that has seen the Ambers finish the season in third place, and know that if they do win the playoffs they will be promoted.
Craig Edwards’ side are in excellent form heading into this game, winning their previous three games, with victories over Northwood (3-0), Hertford Town (5-1) and Westfield (3-0).
The Ambers have lost just one league game at home all season, back in February, taking 40 of their 76 points at home.
Al-Hafeez Sanusi is set for a return to the squad after missing Saturday’s victory over Westfield, whilst Connor Hogan is unavailable for the Ambers.
Fourth place Marlow head into the playoffs following a disappointing 4-0 defeat to Ware on the final day.
However, prior to that setback the Blue were unbeaten in five games, with victories over Molesey (4-3), FC Romania (2-0) and Northwood (2-1), with draws coming against Waltham Abbey (3-3) and South Park (1-1).
Isaac Oioronfemi, Jay Welch and Kelvin Bossman are all suspended for Marlow, who otherwise have no apparent injury concerns.
Tuesday’s game takes place at Theobalds Lane, postcode EN8 8RU. Kick-off is 7.45pm, and admission prices are £10 adults, £5 concessions and £1 U16s. Come on you Ambers.
