Cheshunt will be looking to return to winning ways on Tuesday evening, with Wingate & Finchley making the short trip north.
The Ambers have won just one of the last six league games, a 2-1 win over Bognor Regis Town earlier this month, and since then have suffered back-to-back defeats to Maidstone United (4-1) and Horsham (1-0).
Fabion Simms, Ash Nzala, Shane Cojocarel, Sammy Collins and Tre Charles are all expected to miss out through injury, whilst Mark Hughes and Mo Camara will be available before their suspension kicks in on Saturday.
Ahead of the game, Cheshunt Manager Craig Edwards said: “Our next two games, we’ve got two teams below us in Wingate and Leatherhead, and it will be a test of the character of the boys, how they bounce back.
“Me and the staff will have a long think about how we go Tuesday, because other than the defensive areas, no one’s really, in my book, saying ‘that’s my shirt, you aren’t leaving me out’.
“That’s what we want, we want people to go in there and really claim a shirt, so we’ve got a lot to think about.
“The big plusses for me are it’s early in the season, that’s the biggest of all, and we do look solid at the back.”
Wingate & Finchley sit 21st in the division heading into this game, and visit the Ambers on a run of four games without a win.
Defeats have come to Merstham (4-0), Horsham (2-1) and Maldon & Tiptree (4-2), with a draw coming on Saturday with Folkestone Invicta (1-1).
The Blues appointed a new manager in Spencer Knight prior to Saturday’s game; however, he won’t be in charge until their fixture next weekend against Brightlingsea Regent.
They have no apparent injury concerns.
Tuesday’s game takes place at the Stadium, Theobalds Lane, postcode EN8 8RU. Kick-off is 7.45pm, and admission prices are just £10 adults, £5 concessions and £1 U16s. COYAMBERS.
