THE AMBERS TO VISIT THE POWERDAY STADIUM.
Cheshunt FC will be looking to return to winning ways at the first time of asking as they make the trip to Hanwell Town on Saturday.
Cheshunt were forced to settle for a point on Saturday as they drew 1-1 with Chalfont St Peter, however the Ambers are now seven games unbeaten in all competitions.
That run has seen Cheshunt defeat Molesey (1-0), Aveley (4-0), Tooting & Mitcham United (3-0), Kings Langley (2-1) and Brentwood Town (2-1), whilst draws have come against Marlow (0-0), and the aforementioned Chalfont St Peter.
The unbeaten run has seen Cheshunt move into fifth place in the Bostik League South Central Division, three points off league leaders Hayes & Yeading United.
Craig Edwards’ side have a lengthy injury list, with Bobby Mason, Henry Musaj, Kyle Roberts, Emile Aiken, David Ompreon, Jack Lampe, John Silva and Jason Hallett all sidelined through injury.
Their opponents Hanwell Town lie two places behind Cheshunt in seventh place, however they trail the Ambers by five points.
Hanwell have won just one of their last four games, a 4-0 win over South Park FC in their most recent game. Defeats have come to Marlow (4-1), Tooting & Mitcham United (3-1), and they have drawn with Chalfont St Peter (2-2).
Hanwell have no apparent injury concerns.
Saturday’s game takes place at the Powerday Stadium, postcode UB6 8TL, with a 3pm kick-off.Back +
