George joined Derby County’s Under-21s in the summer of 2022 following a trial spell towards the end of the 2021/22 season. The Republic of Ireland youth international penned a two-year deal with the Rams after developing his game as a youth player with Chelsea. He has joined Cheshunt on loan until the end of the 2022/23 season

The former Crewe Alexandra schoolboy plays predominantly as a left sided attacker, but has been deployed in various roles during his development pathway in the four seasons spent at Chelsea, playing for their Under-18s and Development Squad, as well as competing in the UEFA Youth League and EFL Trophy.

George has spent time on loan at step 3 with Mickleover FC in the Southern Premier League (Central) this season and we are pleased to be able to offer a taste of football at step 2 in the Vanarama National League South.
