Isthmian League 1 National League 0

On a warm autumn evening at Theobalds Lane Stadium, Cheshunt and Leyton Orient fought out a highly entertaining friendly match which saw the home side triumph by 1 goal to nil.

With no midweek fixture for either side, Cheshunt entertained former League side Leyton Orient, who currently lay unbeaten in third in the National League.

With 5 first team players in their starting XI, the visitors took early control of the match and if not for some excellent goalkeeping from debutante Bobby Mason and a missed penalty by Matt Harold  could have been 3 up at half time.

When the second half started, the home side came out all guns blazing. Both sides had plenty of chances and it looked as if a goalless draw would ensue, only for Kyle Roberts to slot the ball past Sam Sargeant in the 80th minute.
